TUXEDO Nano Pro Gen15: A Panther Lake Linux Mini PC for AI
TUXEDO's Nano Pro Gen15 Linux mini PC pairs Intel's 16-core Core Ultra X7 358H with a 50 TOPS NPU, up to 128GB DDR5 and dual 2.5GbE, from 1,470 euros.
Linux-first hardware vendors have spent the last few years shipping AMD mini PCs, so it is notable when one swings back to Intel. TUXEDO Computers has opened preorders for the Nano Pro Gen15, a compact Linux mini PC built around Intel's Panther Lake Core Ultra X7 358H, as reported by LinuxGizmos on October 29, 2026 and confirmed in Liliputing's daily roundup.
- Processor: Intel Core Ultra X7 358H with 16 cores (4P + 8E + 4 LP-E), up to 4.8GHz, plus a 50 TOPS NPU
- Graphics: Intel Arc B390 with 12 Xe3 cores, driving up to four 4K displays
- Memory and storage: up to 128GB of DDR5-7200 across two SO-DIMM slots, plus PCIe 5.0 x4 and PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2 slots
- Price and timing: preorders from 1,470 euros before taxes, with shipping expected from mid-November 2026
What Are the TUXEDO Nano Pro Gen15 Specs?
The chassis measures 110 x 117.5 x 49mm and weighs about a kilogram, small enough to mount behind a monitor with the included VESA bracket. Here is the rest of the spec sheet, per LinuxGizmos:
- Networking: dual 2.5GbE RJ45 ports, Intel Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth
- USB: one USB4 Type-C at 40Gbps with DisplayPort 2.1, one USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C at 20Gbps with DisplayPort 1.4a, and three 10Gbps USB-A ports
- Video: two HDMI outputs, rated 4K at 60Hz under Linux or 4K at 120Hz under Windows
- Power: 120W external adapter with 19V DC input
- Extras: combo audio jack and a Kensington lock slot
The base configuration includes 16GB of RAM, a 500GB NVMe SSD and TUXEDO OS.
Is the Nano Pro Gen15 Good for Local AI?
For local AI experiments, the memory ceiling is the headline. Panther Lake's integrated Arc B390 shares system memory, so with up to 128GB of DDR5 installed, the GPU can address far more memory than the dedicated VRAM on most consumer graphics cards. That makes it possible to load larger quantized language models than a typical 8GB or 12GB card could hold, while the 50 TOPS NPU can take on lighter, always-on inference tasks. Raw throughput will not match a desktop GPU, but for a near-silent box on a desk it is a flexible combination.
The same traits make it a strong homelab candidate. Dual 2.5GbE ports suit a router, firewall or virtualization host, and the PCIe 5.0 slot gives fast storage for containers and model files.
Linux Support and Upgradability
TUXEDO ships the machine with TUXEDO OS, its Ubuntu-based distribution using the KDE Plasma desktop. Ubuntu is officially supported, other distributions can be installed through the company's WebFAI tool, and Windows 11 is available as an option. The TUXEDO Control Center manages performance profiles and power, and fan control is newly supported on this generation.
Maintenance is refreshingly simple: four screws on the bottom panel expose both memory slots, both SSD slots and the wireless module.
The Nano Pro Gen15 joins a growing list of Panther Lake systems, from the LattePanda Sigma 2 AI board to the Minisforum MS-03 mini workstation. For more compact computers, browse our mini PC coverage.
