SoFi Q3 2026 Earnings: 17.1M Members and a 2027 Outlook
SoFi's Q3 2026 earnings brought record $1.4B adjusted revenue, up 44%, 17.1M members and a first 2027 outlook of $6.4B. Here are the numbers that matter.
SoFi Technologies just delivered one of the strongest reports of this earnings season. The digital finance company posted record adjusted net revenue of $1.4 billion for the third quarter of 2026, up 44% from a year earlier, raised its full-year guidance and, for the first time, gave investors a look at 2027. If you have been following SoFi's push to become an "everything app" for money, this quarter showed the strategy working on almost every line.
- Revenue: record adjusted net revenue of $1.4 billion, up 44%; GAAP total net revenue of $1.385 billion
- Profit: net income of $241 million, up 73%, with $0.18 diluted EPS; adjusted EBITDA up 70% to a record $470 million
- Growth: members up 35% to a record 17.1 million and products up 44% to 26.7 million
- Outlook: 2026 guidance raised to $5.04 billion adjusted net revenue; 2027 outlook of $6.4 billion and $0.90 EPS
How Did SoFi Do in Q3 2026?
The headline numbers come from SoFi's earnings release, filed with the SEC on October 27, 2026. GAAP net income rose to $241 million from $139 million a year ago, and diluted earnings per share climbed 64% to $0.18. Adjusted net income was $243 million. Fee-based revenue reached about $570.6 million, or 42% of the total, a mix that tends to be steadier than lending income.
CEO Anthony Noto said SoFi now has eight businesses each generating more than $100 million in annualized revenue, up from a single product less than a decade ago.
Where Is SoFi's Member Growth Coming From?
SoFi added a record 1.2 million members in the quarter and a record 2.2 million products. Members are also using more of the app: products per member rose to about 1.56 from 1.47 a year ago, and 51% of new products were opened by existing members, which is the cross-selling engine SoFi calls its Financial Services Productivity Loop.
Highlights by segment:
- Lending: record total loan originations of $16.9 billion, including about $3.8 billion through its Loan Platform Business, with credit performance in line with expectations
- Financial Services: revenue up 25% to about $525.1 million, with Money and Relay each topping 8 million products
- Invest and Credit Card: Invest grew 37% to more than 4 million products, while Credit Card grew 67% to about 656,000
What Is SoFi's 2027 Outlook?
Raised guidance is always welcome, but the new 2027 outlook is the bigger story. SoFi now expects 2026 adjusted net revenue of $5.04 billion and adjusted EBITDA of $1.66 billion. For 2027, it projects $6.4 billion in adjusted net revenue, $2.24 billion in adjusted EBITDA and $0.90 in EPS. That would mean roughly 27% revenue growth next year on top of the raised 2026 target. As with any company forecast, these are management targets, not guarantees.
SoFi's release also sets longer-range ambitions stretching out to 2030, and MarketBeat's summary of the earnings call covers how management framed the quarter for analysts.
The Takeaway for Investors
This is a fintech growing quickly while expanding profit, which is the combination the market rewards. It builds on a strong run that started with SoFi's record Q1 2026 results and continued with new products like SoFi's SoFiE tokenized deposit.
