DualSense Lisa Limited Edition: Price, Date and Pre-Orders

A Pearl-White Controller With Star Power

Sony and BLACKPINK's Lisa are teaming up, and yes, there's a controller. The PlayStation Blog revealed the DualSense Wireless Controller Lisa Limited Edition on September 21, alongside a full merchandise line and a new EP. It's a fun, glossy crossover, and if you're a fan it comes with dates you'll want on your calendar.

• Price: $84.99, €84.99, £74.99 or ¥12,480
• Pre-orders: October 2 at 10am local time, in limited quantities
• Launch: October 30
• Design: a Chroma Pearl shell with Lisa's signature bangs and eyes on the touch pad, plus her stars and LL monogram

What Does the DualSense Lisa Edition Look Like?

The standout choice is the finish. Chroma Pearl is, per Sony, Lisa's personal favorite colorway, and it gives the controller a soft iridescent sheen rather than a flat white. The touch pad art is playful rather than loud, and the star motif carries across the shell. Under the paint job it's a standard DualSense, so you get the same haptic feedback and adaptive triggers that make the PS5 controller so good.

VGC and Gematsu both confirmed the pricing and dates the same day. The Lisa edition joins the steady stream of special-edition shells that has quietly turned the DualSense into something of a collectible.

Where Can You Pre-Order It?

In the US, pre-orders go through direct.playstation.com. In Europe, Sony is selling through its hardware store for the UK, France, Germany, Austria, Spain, Portugal, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg. Participating retailers worldwide will carry it too. Quantities are limited, so treat the October 2 opening like a concert ticket drop.

What Else Is in the Lisa x PlayStation Collection?

The controller headlines a merchandise range that includes apparel, hats, tote bags, keychains, stickers and a DualSense carrying case. The first assortment arrives through PlayStation's direct store from October 2, and a second one lands on Lisa's Amazon store on October 23. That's also the release date for her new EP, Press Play, which is a very on-brand title for a gaming collab.

In Sony's announcement, Lisa said that gaming is "something I do whenever I have time to relax." It's nice to see a crossover built on the artist actually enjoying the hobby.

Is It Worth Picking Up?

If you need a second controller anyway, a limited edition at $84.99 is a stylish way to get one, and pearl finishes tend to hold up well visually. For collectors, the limited run is the main draw. Either way, it's a cheerful bit of news heading into a busy fall release calendar, which kicked off with the September State of Play. More PlayStation news lives in our gaming coverage.
