Endless TD Drops Patch 0.5.1 With a Full PvP Ranked System, Three New Towers, and a Talent Constellation Overhaul
Endless TD patch 0.5.1 delivers a full PvP ranked system with 20 tiers, three new towers, a hex-node talent constellation overhaul, and color blind accessibility support.
If you have been sleeping on Endless TD, patch 0.5.1 might be the wake-up call. The tower defense title just dropped a massive update that touches competitive play, tower variety, progression, and accessibility — all in one sweep.
PvP Ranked Is Here
The headline feature is a comprehensive ranked PvP system with 20 unique tiers, each with its own rank icon. The Diamond, Master, and Grandmaster tiers get animated icons, which is a nice touch for the competitive crowd. Expanded cosmetic rewards are tied to progression throughout the ranking ladder, giving you tangible goals beyond just climbing the leaderboard.
The PvP infrastructure also got a stability pass with a team-based surrender voting system for 2v2 matches, improved matchmaking queue handling, better reconnect and disconnect recovery, and enhanced lobby host controls. These are the behind-the-scenes improvements that make competitive play feel reliable.
Three New Towers
Patch 0.5.1 adds three new towers to the roster: the Abyssal Leviathan for water-focused strategies, the Anathema Spire for tactical dynamics, and the Brine Wraith for elemental synergy builds. More towers means more build diversity, which is the lifeblood of any good tower defense game.
Talent Constellation System
The talent system received a full overhaul with a new hex-node talent tree layout. Tower-specific talent visibility has been enhanced, and a new hotbar toggle lets you preview talents for your selected towers before committing. It is a smart UI choice that reduces guesswork and lets you plan builds more strategically.
Quality of Life Everywhere
A new post-game XP bar with smooth animations and multi-level rollover makes progression feel satisfying. The Player Upgrade screen got a redesign. Color blind support now covers Protanopia, Deuteranopia, and Tritanopia modes. Tower tooltips clearly distinguish between talent, support, and upgrade bonuses.
This is the kind of patch that shows a developer listening to their community and delivering across the board.
